Utilizing GIS software for georeferencing is the fastest and most convenient method to achieve finalized UAS outputs.

Georeferencing is a critical step in UAS Mapping. After capturing images with the drone and processing them through specialized photogrammetric software, we obtain orthomosaic and elevation models. Georeferencing the aerial imagery is essential for accurate mapping. This process rectifies any horizontal errors in the aerial’s relative accuracy, ensures its compatibility with the desired coordinate system, and guarantees perfect alignment with data from other sources, such as the GNSS data acquired for the project. This approach streamlines the process, enhancing efficiency and precision in UAS Mapping
